10th International Symposium on High Performance Concrete

Registration is open for the 10th International Symposium on High Performance Concrete – Innovation & Utilization, taking place in Beijing, China from 16 to 18 September 2014. The symposium will be a continuation of the successful previous symposia held every three years since 1987. It will bring together engineers, designers, researchers and scientists from around the world, to promote better understanding on common interests ranging from the latest research findings to the most challenging applications of high performance concrete for construction.

Early-bird registration is available until 15 June 2014.  To register and for further information about the event, visit  http://www.hpc-2014.com.

Application of superabsorbent polymers and other new admixtures in concrete construction

An international conference on the application of of superabsorbent polymers and other new admixtures in concrete construction will be held from 14 to 17 September 2014 at the Technical University of Dresden, Germany. The aim of the conference is to exchange ideas and experience in an open forum. Contributions will address insights from experimental studies, theory or modeling where such new, functional additives are used in cement-based construction materials. Time slots for discussion of the themes and social events are planned to promote an active workshop atmosphere.
