fib Achievement Award for Young Engineers 2027
Entries are now open for the fib Achievement Award for Young Engineers 2027, which aims to recognise and promote the contributions of early-career professionals in the field of structural concrete. The award provides young engineers under the age of 40 with an opportunity to gain international visibility for their work, whether in practical design or academic research.
The award is presented in two categories. The Design & Construction category recognises practicing engineers and is based on one or more projects to which the candidate has made a significant contribution. The Research category is intended for researchers and is awarded on the basis of a PhD thesis.
Award recipients will be invited to present their work at the Awards Ceremony, to be held during the fib Symposium 2027 in Dresden, Germany. Winners will receive a monetary prize of €2’000 as well as free registration for the symposium.
